The inspiration came from two perspectives. Firstly the business problems which was faced by a client as Furo, Lamoure and Red chief were seen as different brands due to its multi-location presence leading to a visibility clutter. Secondly, the client needs to develop a strong brand identity. With the advent of global players creating a challenge for the client to match the upcoming competition. Hence inspired us to work on a new global identity.
Silver A' Design Award for Interior Space and Exhibition Design Category
The concept of this proposal is about to unify two brands together (Studds and SMK). Therefore Studds, the world's largest helmet manufacturer desired a global retail Identity. In phase one brand planned to rollout 100 stores in Asia with an average area of 600 to 1000 sq ft. The broad inspiration came from three words of the brand - legacy, comfort and safety. The layer of the same design skin was sketched across every inch of the store to achieve a unified design identity. The design allows for generating a large flow of consumers to have a better experience. Yet a futuristic design for both consumer segments masses and classes.
